All Natural Thursday

Happy Halloween! In case you didnt know, or just haven't been paying attention, today is October 31st. I would be dissapointing myself if I didn't share with you a photo of some beautiful pumpkins. 

I took this shot with my Canon 5D mkII. This canon is by far my favourite camera to use right now. 

Wicked Wednesday

The best thing about Wednesdays is knowing the fact that you're halfway to the weekend. The second best thing is getting to share one of my favourite photos with everyone. During the summer, I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to take photos of a firework display from a hotel rooftop. This was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. 

It truly amazes me how many fantastic opportunities I've had already in my life, and I am extremely thankful for every one of these experiences. 

Tranquil Tuesday

Good morning everyone! We've made it through another Monday, and I for one certainly need something to help me relax.  One of the most relaxing things for me is running water, so I've decided to post an image of the most water I've seen in one place. In May of last year, I had the pleasure of visiting a friend of mine in Toronto. On this trip, we visited quite a few tourist attractions, including Niagra falls.

This is a photo that I took with my iPhone while using an editin app to add a small amount of effects.

Music Monday

I'm currently working on a new name for my Monday posts since I've decided to post concert photos over the weekends. Today I'd like to share with you the lead singer from one of my favourite bands Liftoff! Liftoff is the best dresses band that I have ever had the opportunity to watch live. If there were any bands to compare these guys to, it would be Greenday. Although they have a similar sound, Liftoff has a ton of original music that completely separates them from any other band out there.

It's been great to be online here for a week already. I'm super excited to continue showing you more of my work. Thank you for being here with me!

Sunday Sonata

What an amazing weekend it's been for me. Two amazing concerts, and a lot of editing to go along with them both. Today, my day is being spent editing photos from the two shows, until I go down to the aquarium to watch the beautiful animals. Since I usually attend multiple concerts a week, and have a lot of that kind of material, I think that I will post concert footage on the weekends, aswell as on Monday. 

This is a young up and coming girl named Tessa Mouzerakis. At the age of 15, she has single handedly written enough songs to complete a 45 minute set. She had me stunned when she started playing. Her song writing is extremely good for her age, and she has the voice of an angel. Check her out online, and let me know what you think of her in the comment section!

What an amazing show last night! Three great bands with three great performances in Vancouver. I can't wait for the second show tonight, in a little pizza joint out I'm Surrey, B.C. I'm lucky enough to get to go and see two of my favourite British Columbian bands perform. Tonight, it's Trace the Sky from Victoria and Nanimo, aswell as Sharks! On Fire! who originally come from Kamloops. To get everyone, and myself pumped up for their show, here's a photo of Sharks' guitarist and backup vocalist Dan Hum!

Weekend Kickoff

Happy Friday everyone! We've made it to the weekend once again! This weekend, I'm lucky enough to get to go to two desperate concerts. Tonight, I get to see my good friends in Season to Attack, The Dramatic Finish and the ever exciting Tenant perform live at Joe's Apartment in Vancouver! I have actually had the pleasure to take photos for all three of these bands in the recent past, and all three concerts were phenomenal. I can't wait to see the show that they all put on together. To celebrate seeing them again, here is a photo of David Isbister and Alan Calimbas of STA from my last shoot with them.

I would highly recommend looking into all three of these bands. Look for them online, and on iTunes.

All Natural Thursday

Good morning everyone! There's only one more day until Friday and the weekend, what are your plans? I have two concerts that I'll be attending, and I am really excited for them both. If you aren't going to a concert and need something to do, why not go to the aquarium? One of the most interesting animals to look at is jellyfish. I can never really get over the beauty of how a jellyfish moves, they always look so graceful and clam.

Wicked Wednesday

Hello all! We've made it to hump day once again! Congratulations on making it half way to the weekend. The first type of photography that really got me interested, and hooked to the wonderful art was light paintings. I could never draw growing up, but I always loved to paint... Or attempt to at least. In my mind, a good light painting is one of the absolutely coolest type of photo there is, therefor, on the first Wicked Wednesday I would like to share my latest light painting.

Tranquil Tuesday

Happy Tuesday everyone!!! Today is a day to relax and enjoy something nice and calming. One of the most calming things for many people is fishing, that's why I've chosen this photo that I took with my iPhone while I was out for a walk. When I saw this man, it seemed as if he was completely at peace with where he was in his life, and I was envious. That was, until I thought about it, and realized that the one thing that I can do to be at that level of in we peace is take photos. Happy Tuesday everyone!
